Work with us for three months in return for receiving training as a PADI Divemaster or SSI DiveCon. This gives you the opportunity not only to do your course without paying for it, but also to work in a professional dive center and gain hands-on experience. You will leave as a professional with experience, which will help if you are planning to get a job in the dive industry and if you want to become an instructor.
1770 UnderSea Adventures is a small dive operation which allows us to give personalized and friendly service to all our customers, with safety always the first priority. We go out with smaller groups of people (max 24) and are definitely not a "mass production" Dive Center. This creates a very enjoyable working environment in which you will really learn how to provide customer service in a fun and safe way.
What can you expect:
We work most days a week, with varying hours. On average we go out four times a week but it varies with weather and the tourist seasons. There is always something to do, equipment repair or maintenance or other odd jobs. Your duties (as for all of us) include: providing personal and professional customer service, giving potential customers (honest) information and advise, selling our services and retail products, cleaning the shop, the toilets, the car, the equipment, etc., assisting with the diving activities, dive guiding, maintaining equipment, filling tanks, running errands, etc., etc. Basically doing anything that needs to be done, which does not mean you are going to be a slave; we all work together as a team.
Who this internship is for:

Because of this we have a stringent internship application process. If you are interested in this internship please email us with your cv, a recent photo, and a bit about yourself.
